TMEA provides much needed equipment

The Temple Medical Education Alliance has been a long time supporter of McLane Children’s. These spouses of medical residents work hard all year to fundraise and build relationships with other medical families in our community. Our Champion, Ava, created the art for the event auction. Ava is a 9 year old artist who is seen at McLane Children’s for Spina Bifida. She was so excited to help out and made some beautiful art pieces all of which included her fingerprints.

The fundraiser included a silent suction, sponsored tables and casino games. A check was presented to McLane Children’s in the amount of $15,000.00. This donation will go towards the purchase of a ECMO heater, a ENT airway instrument and a vein viewer.
